Elite ICT is looking to hire a full-time Telecommunications Civil Technician to help support Illinois's leader in wireless construction. Working as a team of 2-4 the crew will complete the civil construction portion of wireless cell tower construction including pouring concrete slabs, clearing access roads and grading. Must be willing to travel 4-6 weeks at a time. This is a great opportunity to join our experienced staff and rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand and power tools with ease
• Lay out cell tower sites, electrical, and telecommunications infrastructure
• Install and wire telecommunications equipment, installing breakers, making terminations
• Trenching, laying fiber and conduit
• Pour concrete pads, piers, pylons, block wall foundations, excavations, layout, forming, rebar placing and finishing
• Set and install pre-fabricated equipment buildings
• Install light industrial steel, i.e. h-frames, light posts
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous construction and/or construction industry experience preferred
• Professional presentation by speech and in appearance
• Ability to travel
• Ability to operate machinery such as backhoes, mini excavators, and skid steers
• Ability to read blueprints
• Practice safe working procedures in compliance with OSHA regulation
• Ability to read and understand general job related documents

Offers are contingent upon drug test, background check, and MVR screens.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
