We are seeking a hands-on Civil Field Supervisor to support Project Management by leading daily civil construction activities in the field. This role is responsible for overseeing crews and subcontractors on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with ELITE ICT and client standards.

The Civil Field Supervisor serves as the primary field point of contact, proactively addressing jobsite challenges, maintaining production schedules, conducting quality control inspections, and reinforcing a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in telecommunications or underground utility construction, thrives in fast-paced field environments, and leads by example.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Travel routinely, including overnight stays, to active job sites and client locations.
  • Supervise and lead field crews through foremen, providing direction, accountability, and support.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and internal crews to ensure efficient execution of civil projects.
  • Visit job sites daily to monitor progress, prevent miscommunication, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide daily project updates to the Project Manager, including risks, delays, and upcoming needs.
  • Maintain and enforce all safety standards; conduct Safety and Behavior Observation Audits during site visits.
  • Perform quality control inspections prior to crew demobilization from job sites.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure accountability across the field team.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges and team conflicts in real time.
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to maintain schedule alignment.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop field personnel while promoting ELITE ICT’s safety culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and customer standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong leadership presence with professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience supervising field crews in civil construction and/or telecommunications environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and jobsite hazard mitigation practices.
  • Knowledge of telecom industry standards, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Ability to coordinate personnel, equipment, and project resources effectively.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Project preferred).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
  • Detail-oriented with sound judgment and the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field leader looking to expand their responsibility and grow alongside a fast-moving telecommunications construction team.
