Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Own the Gift Lifecycle
- Lead the end‑to‑end processing and acknowledgment of all philanthropic gifts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Enter and validate donor and gift data in Raiser’s Edge, maintaining the highest level of data integrity
- Generate tax receipts and tailored acknowledgment letters aligned with donor intent and gift type
- Determine appropriate funds, appeals, and coding by synthesizing information from multiple sources
Drive Financial Accuracy & Accountability
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial and gift reports (deposit reports, pledge reports, credit/debit summaries) in partnership with Accounting
- Maintain and organize all gift documentation and audit-ready records (batch reports, donor correspondence, remittance forms)
Support Campaigns, Events & Giving Programs
- Track and manage event sponsorships and payments, partnering closely with Manager of Events and Corporate Development to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Oversee the memorial giving program, including communication with families and reporting on tribute gifts
Strengthen Data & Systems
- Maintain the integrity of the donor database by:
- Creating and updating records
- Identifying and resolving duplicates
- Capturing relationship data to enhance stewardship strategies
- Upload and maintain key documentation (e.g., pledge forms, fund agreements) within donor records
- Conduct targeted research to fill gaps in donor and prospect information
Enhance Donor Stewardship
- Partner with frontline team members to clarify donor intent and support exceptional donor experiences
- Monitor daily hospital census reports to identify admitted donors and prospects, sharing insights with the team to enhance timely engagement
Advance Operational Excellence
- Maintain and enhance gift processing procedures and documentation
- Protect donor privacy and organizational integrity by ensuring strict confidentiality and data security
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, and efficiency
What You Bring
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion with sensitive information
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Experience with donor databases (Raiser’s Edge preferred) or similar CRM systems

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience.
Work Experience: 3 years of related experience.
