The Home Care RN Supervisor works with RNs, PTs, OTs, SLPs, Medical Social Workers, Home Health aides, Office Coordinators, Schedulers to ensure smooth workflows that adhere to all state, federal, and accrediting body rules and regulations. Ensures that workflows efficiently utilize resources in a variety of home care functions. Hours may vary depending upon census and program need.

Responsibilities

Assesses and problem solves using information systems and process to promote desired patient, professional and organizational outcomes. Plans, implements and evaluates quality improvement activities.Assists manager in providing coaching and one-to-one feedback to team members.Assists in developing and implements current and new office processes within the department.Assists Manager in annual and on-going performance appraisals for employees based on job descriptions and performance standards.Assists in development and review of department policies and procedures.Assumes full responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager.Assists with the oversight of regulatory compliance utilizing home health State licensure requirements, Accreditation Guidance, and Medicare Conditions of Participation Manages the day-to-day operations of the department and team Monitors employee performance and ensures timely communications for the purpose of goal setting and performance evaluations. Acts as a resource to accomplish tasks related to the clinical services provided by home health Assumes responsibility for personnel related duties that include interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll reporting, scheduling paid leave, and enforcing required rules and regulations for Direct Reports.

Qualifications

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA);

Proof of Auto Insurance - Varies;

National Nursing Certification within 3 years - Varies; Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS);

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR),

Education: Bachelor's Degree: Nursing,

Work Experience: 2yrs of Nursing experience

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $45.35per hour - $78per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
