Overview

The Patient Service Representative Lead assists in the coordination of staffing and activities of the office, central check in/check out, and the phone bank. Provides leadership and technical expertise in all aspects of service. Performs staffing coverage as needed. Supports clinical and medical team in coordinating patient services. Supports constructive communication within the department.

Responsibilities

Perform essential job functions of Patient Service Representative I, II and III.
Assists in coordination of staffing and activities.
Acts as a role model and supports management initiatives for the department. Assumes leadership role in the absence of Supervisor/Manager.
Assists leadership with the orientation and training of new and existing staff.
Acts as an EPIC Super User for department staff.
Maintains Downtime computer.
Assists in communicating IT and facility requests for the department and department provider. Assists leadership with completing requisition requests. Participates actively in the QI/UR committee to communicate PSR/support staff needs and availability for solution focused activities to support full department goals/needs. Proactively and positively participates in Department meetings to support growth and department goals. Completes Mentor training and acts as a mentor for new and existing staff to support department outcomes. Seeks to anticipate needs for the department in order to facilitate efficiency and efficacy of department mission.

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $23.05per hour - $38.49per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
