Job Description
Carle Health is seeking a dedicated BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established Hospitalist team as a Nocturnist at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Practice Details Include:
- Join an established and collegial team of 60+ Hospitalists who provide 24/7 in-house care
- Collaborate with night team to address patient admissions and continuum of care
- Closed ICU; will collaborate with ICU night physician to facilitate patient care
- Tasks include overnight swing (Admitter), night triage, and crosscover
- The Nocturnist will respond to all codes during crosscover between 7p – 7a
- Must be able to work independently, yet collaboratively, assisting the night team as needed
