JUNIOR COUNSELOR (JC)Age requirement: 16-17 (15 years old with experience as a CIT)Number of Positions: 4-6Salary: $15-$15.25/hourDates: June 3 – July 31, 2026; Monday – Friday, 8am-3pm, 3 days/wk, ~20 hrs/wkTraining: Evenings May 13, 19, & 20; Day of June 1 & 2GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Junior Counselors (JC) assist the Camp Leaders with the execution and planning of activities for campers ages 6-12. This program is designed for teens aged 15-17 years old that are interested in learning practical leadership skills by working with children in a fun and professional camp atmosphere. JCs are trained and supervised by the Environmental Education Coordinator.As a benefit, all camp staffers receive both a summer pool pass to the Crystal Lake Park Family Aquatic Center and a summer membership to the Urbana Health and Wellness Center.
