Mechanic performs mechanical repairs, overhauls, upkeep, and maintenance of District facilities and equipment such as pumps, compressors, stationary engines, piping, valves, etc. The position requires the ability to perform routine and complex preventive maintenance inspections and interpret diagrams and schematics. Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail are also required. Industrial maintenance coursework or a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance is required. The pay range for this position is $32.56-$34.45. Position requires the ability to obtain a CDL driver’s license within 11 months of hire date and have a safe driving record. The position is subject to drug and alcohol screens in compliance with DOT regulations. The District offers assistance with CDL training costs.
