Duties & Responsibilities Envision and implement teaching and learning technologies supporting departmental pedagogical goals in lectures, discussions, labs, and online homework and assessments. Includes supporting faculty and students in various complex Learning Management Systems (LMS). Manage department’s multimedia operations, including development of robust interactive content in complex learning environments. Identify multimedia needs, oversee professional videography services for course content, deliver training and support to faculty in the use of video, online collaboration tools, and other related learning technologies. Supervise staff who assist with setup, editing and distribution of completed videos. Manage studio scheduling and equipment. Approve hardware and software purchases. Develop facility enhancements to maintain the department’s ability to innovate and create excellent instructional and promotional video content. Stay abreast of developments in Instructional Technology and learning spaces both on campus and beyond, serving as an essential resource to the Department. Act as department’s digital accessibility liaison. Serve on relevant campus committees, national groups and other collaborative initiatives to enhance instructional technologies in higher education.
