Duties Responsibilities Performs housekeeping and specialized cleaning • Remove trash throughout the building. • Clean restrooms, dressing rooms, and waiting rooms and all theaters. • Mop, scrub, sweep, wax, renovate, wash interior and exterior surfaces. Event and Performance Preparation and Breakdown • Unlock waiting rooms, classrooms and rehearsal rooms. • Secure classrooms and rehearsal spaces after each event. • Unlock waiting rooms, classrooms and rehearsal rooms. • Setup and tear down risers and platform devices after the event(s). • Plans, coordinates, implements, and set up academic, catering and performance events. • Assist with truck loading and unloading. Maintenance • Coordinate necessary maintenance of equipment and materials in an efficient and secure manner. • Unlock and remove exterior fire blocks. • Check exterior lighting and report findings of damage items. • Monitor and track inventory. • Remove and shovel snow during winter conditions. • Provide the conversion of maintenance of facilities and equipment such as the CFR and power scrubber in a large multi-purpose building such as the Krannert Center. Perform other duties as assigned.
