Job Summary
The College of Business at the University of Illinois invites applicants for full-time employment (any rank) in public finance, with a strong preference for expertise in public economics or environmental economics. This position, which will be tenured or tenure-track in the Department of Finance, will be associated with the Center for Business and Public Policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess or be near completion of a doctoral degree.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time academic position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 8/16/2026.The budgeted salary range for this position is $250,000-$350,000. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, rank, and experience while considering internal equity.
