The School of Information Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in a range of areas supporting the MS in Information Management, the MS in Library and Information Science, and the BS in Information Science. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- MS/MA or PhD in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields.

- Teaching experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Academic training and/or work experience in needed curricular areas.

- Relevant service in professional organizations (where applicable).

SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

Candidates may be offered an affiliate, non-service appointment initially, when teaching need is determined salary and service will be commensurate with course load. The expected start date for Fall 2025 is August 16, 2025 and for Spring 2026 is January 16, 2026.

The budgeted salary for these positions is $6800 for each 4-credit hour semester long course. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
