The Department of Economics invites applicants for a full-time tenured faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level. The department will consider applicants in any research area. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics or an equivalent degree and must have a record of publication indicative of an appointment as an associate/full professor. Applicants with the ability to add intellectual diversity, work successfully with diverse students and colleagues, and mentor diverse students and junior colleagues are especially encouraged to apply. Successful candidates are expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, establish and maintain an active and independent research program, and provide service to the department, the university, and the economics profession. Salary will be commensurate with the research record, qualifications, and accomplishments. The target starting date is August 16, 2024.
