As a Sr. Data Analyst, Sales Operations at United Rentals, you are responsible for the day-to-day data management of a sales channel with over 150 salespeople. You’ll leverage insights to drive continuous improvement and accelerate revenue growth. You will also provide project management support on key sales growth and customer retention initiatives. Implement data governance and streamline processes across the ETL ecosystem.

Additional duties include the following:

• Lead program analytics efforts with a relentless focus on identifying opportunities for improvement throughout the sales funnel and leading to accelerated revenue growth

• Maintain supporting systems, reporting and other processes

• Produce monthly KPIs and presentations for company leadership

• Work with key stakeholders to address questions or troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations and oversight to streamline existing processes

• Drive forward essential ETL pipelines with the end goal of near real time reporting for the outbound sales program

• Develop analytic approaches/reporting as necessary to measure impact of sales growth initiatives

• Support go to market strategies focused on driving profitable revenue growth in specific vertical or geographic market areas

• Establish key tracking and reporting mechanisms that support sales growth strategies

• Take project management ownership of specific initiatives as appropriate and drive results

• Support implementation of key sales growth programs at all levels of the organization

• Manage project development and cross functional team work as needed

• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a STEM field

• Experience with SQL (3+ years)

• Experience with Tableau or other BI tools(1-3+ years)

• Experience with Python (1-3+ years)

• Data analytics skills including basic statistical techniques (correlations, statistical testing) preferred

• High level of proficiency within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools

• Self-starter with willingness/ability to seek out new approaches/solutions to complex business challenges

• High sense of urgency and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills; intermediate presentation skills

• Ability to influence and effectively work across multiple departmental/external groups

• Effectively manage multiple high profile projects at one time
