8 Hours – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Essential Function 1

Conducts inventories as assigned of administrative supplies, janitorial supplies, linen and clothing, to determine stock levels.

Assists unloading of supplies being received.

Validates receiving documents, tallies and tags received merchandise, rotate stock to assure proper FIFO procedures.

Essential Function 2

Prepares clothing area(s) for initial, final and intermittent issues as determined by Logistics Supervisor to satisfy cadet needs.

Updates and maintains cadet clothing records to track issues and clothing exchanges.

Retrieves all cadet clothing upon completion of class cycle and/or dismissals. All items are to be counted, inspected for serviceability processed through laundry. Sorted by item and size and restocked.

Essential Function 3

Ensure cadets are measured & fitted for graduation attire one month prior to graduation and ensure any shortages are requisitioned in a timely fashion to ensure receipt prior to graduation.

Requires the knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two years completion of college.

Preferred Qualifications 1

1. Two years military supply experience is desired.
2. A working knowledge of Microsoft Access is desired.

Employment Condition 1

1. Requires the ability to pass a DoD background investigation.
2. Requires a valid driver’s license in the appropriate classification as required by law.
3. Required to work a flex work schedule including weekends and evenings when necessary to meet agency needs.
4. This position is considered light work as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR 404.1567(b)). Light work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 30 pounds. This job may require a good deal of walking or standing or involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
