- Logistics: Checking order status, tracking shipments, communicating with all company personnel to relay adequate information for ordering/receiving, managing returned items, and relaying invoice information. Coordinating warehouse storage of material/quantity. Schedule deliveries while coordinating with warehouse staff and jobsite contact.
- Preparing invoices for projects per contracted scope, compiling various legal documents, acquiring proof of delivery, requesting certificate of insurance when necessary, tracking/relaying payment information to appropriate company personnel, logging payment information.
Other responsibilities include:
- Greeting and directing incoming customers, vendors, package handlers, and delivery drivers. Labeling incoming packages and/or pallets with appropriate contact information.
- General file organization per scope within each project, re-ordering stock material, following up of on-going issues, assisting Buyer when necessary.
- Maintain log of all projects (current, quoting and upcoming): for each scope include order status, bidding status, and any notes/reminders.
- Arrange/Log Appliance Repair: Verify appliance is within 1 year of customer invoice date, contact vendor servicer, provide necessary information (location/address of appliance, scheduling contact information, invoice as proof of purchase date). Follow up on repair/replacement and parts orders.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn inventory management and billing software
- Proven experience with multi-tasking, customer service and organizational skills
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Previous logistics experience
- Experience in customer service
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computer experience with working knowledge of logistics software
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
