What you will do:

• Learn the process to produce closures by learning from all areas of the production area
• Supervise employees in the production of closures, ensuring product quality, food safety, safety compliance, awareness, and teamwork.
• Learn and apply written safety procedures and observe work areas
• Learn and apply SPC sources and basic quality tools, including diagrams, flowcharts, run charts, control charts, and testing methods.
• Learn and train in procedures to maximize productivity throughout your organization. Manage equipment, enforce SOPs, and standards.
• Develop, supervise, and mentor employees to drive performance and growth. Direct and assign work, administer labor contracts, and ensure compliance. Foster a positive workplace and communicate effectively.

What you will need to have:

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred experience in a union environment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Excellent computer and communication skills
