Position Summary

This position serves to provide a link between MCO’s/Hospitals and Rosecrance’s crisis programs through regular telephonic consultations to provide updates relating to crisis outcomes and providing discharge planning for clients. This position will also be monitoring and managing a variety of compliance related documents to ensure clients receive services in accordance with program fidelities. This position will coordinate with leadership and the crisis program workers across all Illinois regions to ensure task completion

Sign-On Bonus:

$3,000 BA and non licensed

$4,000 for licensed masters level candidates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or other related field, or equivalent experience and training
  • Must qualify at a minimum as a MHP per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Ability to navigate and complete documentation in the electronic healthcare record
  • Ability to accurately complete required documentation within the prescribed time frames
  • Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Agency insurance requirements
  • Must have own transportation.

Responsibilities

  1. Work scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership. Some variation in scheduled hours may be required to meet company needs.
  2. Utilize Electronic Health Record to open clients into services and to audit charts for necessary documentation.
  3. Ensuring crisis program fidelities are met in regard to discharge planning, MCO communication, and client staffing through monitoring documentation and performing these tasks as needed.
  4. Communicate effectively with crisis program staff through consultations to receive necessary information to coordinate care with outside providers as well as to ensure accurate discharge planning is occurring.
  5. Utilize documentation within Electronic Health Record to complete Utilization Reviews for clients in crisis programs for insurance providers.
  6. Monitoring and managing crisis program compliance related documentation and communicating effectively with leadership and crisis program team members relating to documentation that is needing to be completed.
  7. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  8. Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  9. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance.
  10. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  11. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  12. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Schedule

  • Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Shift: 1st shift

Work Location: Onsite- Rosecrance Walnut Office – Champaign, IL

Compensation:

(Based on education, experience and credentials)

    • Starting salary- $53,851.20
