As a Quality Shift Leader, you are responsible for the coordination, discipline and safety of all Quality Department associates on their respective shifts. You will join our team of collaborative associates focused on producing the best quality packaging in the industry.

You Will
Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action
Initiate action for food safety issues
Provide follow-up training of all quality personnel assigned to the designated shift, on the duties and responsibilities of the quality department in regards to updates and changes
Scheduling of work assignments during regular hours and overtime hours, in their areas
Disciplinary actions of quality assigned personnel, when necessary, in coordination with the Quality manager
Responsible for the communication of pertinent information
Responsible for daily tasks including measurement, visual checks, on-hold activities, and any related fact finding needed during the shift, as necessary
Assist with SAP work where needed in relation to fact finding
Monitor all lab measurement and visual inspection techniques and processes
Has the authority to place product on hold and shut machines down
Performs other duties as assigned
You Have
Industrial Technology or related degree, or relevant work experience and background
Strong mathematical and analytical skills as demonstrated by local testing, transcripts and/or references
Experience with ISO, FDA, and GMP compliance standards
Strong written communication skills as demonstrated by testing, transcripts, or other designated methods
Good supervisory skills verifiable through references
Computer (software) literate as verified by transcript or references
Instrument calibration skills as verified by OJT demonstration
You'll Earn
$50,000-$60,000 annually, based on skills, experience, education, and qualifications!
