Position Summary:
The VoIP Deployment Technician will be our primary point of contact for VoIP Deployments. You will design, administer, maintain, and deploy ATAs, PBX platforms, SIP trunks, E911, and handset devices, demonstrating a good understanding of VoIP, switching, and routing technologies. As a VoIP Deployment Technician, you will collaborate with clients and other departments of Pavlov Media to install and support VoIP solutions. An ideal applicant would have a solid understanding of VoIP and networking technologies and be able to prioritize activities depending on business requirements. This position will include extensive fieldwork and engagement with customers. It is an onsite position.
Duties/Responsibilities:

- Set up, design, configure, and install new PBX systems for clients
- Travel onsite to install VoIP systems at client locations and provide end‑user training
- Provide ongoing VoIP support and troubleshooting for existing clients
- Maintain accurate ticketing, documentation, and inventory records for each job
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of networking systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of VoIP systems, including SIP tracing
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- One year or more of experience in VoIP technology roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in processes, procedures, and priorities
Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to client sites
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to safely climb ladders and work at heights when required
- This position is designated as safety‑sensitive and requires participation in the company’s random drug and alcohol testing program
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is: $23.00 – $28.00 hourly
Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate’s primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience. Pavlov Media is committed to complying with the Equal Pay Act and places a strong emphasis on internal equity when determining compensation. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
