Restore Laborer

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Pavlov Media builds fiber optic telecommunications networks providing multi-Gigabit Internet speeds to homes and businesses through its subsidiary company CCG.

The Restore Laborer is part of an underground utility construction crew and reports to a crew lead or construction manager. This role will work closely with quality control to restore construction sites, ensuring no long-term disruption to quality of properties.

Primary Responsibilities:

Utilize materials such as dirt, rock, and sand to backfill holes
Place seed in areas where grass regrowth is needed
Work within residential areas being considerate of homeowner’s property
Analyze utility locating marks to determine safe digging
Drive to multiple markets within a day to complete restore
Move materials, drive vehicles and equipment to jobsite
Maintain jobsite, equipment, and vehicle cleanliness daily
Follow safety procedures while working as part of a team to meet production goals
Represent the company in a professional manner to the public
Communicate with homeowners as needed
Replace damaged vaults while working around conduit and live fiber
Reset vaults to be level with ground
Use various yard tools and power rakes
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License is required
Obtain a DOT medical card and pass drug screen
Ability to work outside year-round.
Communicate and work with others respectfully
Experience with landscaping or restore work

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to hear and have visual acuity including close vision
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to walk, stoop, climb, kneel, bend, crawl and move through a job site
Must be able to be physically active for 8 hours per day
