NoshBox is a food marketplace and restaurant SaaS platform out to fix the broken economics of independent restaurants by reinventing how they sell and operate. For restaurants, we're the system that predicts demand, streamlines operations, and turns guesswork into revenue they can plan around. The independent restaurant market is one of the largest in the world and one of the worst served by modern software, and we're building the platform that drags it into the future. We move fast, we're built to scale, and we're looking for a Content & Social Media Associate to help us make it impossible to scroll past NoshBox's restaurant partners and bring our brand to life through our digital presence.

The job

  • Shoot and edit short-form videos and photos of real food from real local restaurants. Make people hungry.
  • Manage NoshBox's Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook day to day, including posting on a consistent cadence, responding to comments and DMs, jumping on relevant trends, and tagging or resharing partner restaurants.
  • Create content around restaurant partners, campus food culture, NoshBox deals, product launches, tabling, and local events.
  • Work with campus nano- and micro-creators by briefing them, collecting content, tracking deliverables, and keeping creator content flowing.
  • Keep content aligned with the NoshBox brand guide while making simple assets we need, including in-app banners, flyers, story templates, and promotional graphics.
  • Capture and post content from campus tabling, restaurant activations, launch events, and other in-person marketing moments.
  • Build and maintain a content calendar so we know what is being posted, when, and why.

The ideal candidate

  • Understands a brand vision and can turn it into a real online presence people actually want to follow.
  • Shoots and edits video and photo content that looks good, moves fast, and feels native to social platforms, whether on a phone or camera.
  • Writes in a sharp, natural, campus-friendly voice that feels human, funny, and never corporate.
  • Knows Instagram and TikTok from the inside and has experience growing an account, whether your own, a student organization's, a business's, or a client's.
  • Has good taste in food content and understands what makes someone stop scrolling, save a post, share with a friend, or order something.
  • Is organized enough to keep a content calendar, manage creator posts, and reliably hit posting deadlines.
  • Is comfortable being on-site at restaurants, events, and campus activations around Champaign-Urbana.
  • Bonus: experience creating food, restaurant, campus, nightlife, or local business content.
  • Bonus: experience with Canva, Figma, CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom, or similar tools.

The details

  • Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
  • W-2 role with the chance to grow with us as NoshBox scales.
  • $20/hour to start, with room for performance-based bonuses.
  • Must be on-site in Champaign-Urbana for shoots, restaurant visits, campus tabling, and events.
  • Anticipated start date: July 1, 2026.
  • Reports directly to the founder and works closely with the growth marketing lead.
