SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Niemanns Self Checkout Attendant (SCO) include supervising the self-checkouts, assisting customer in processing orders, including cashiering and loss prevention. The SCO Attendant also responds to complaints with genuine concern.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

• Ensures proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Directs customer traffic.
• Assists with any pricing issue.
• Assists with stocking merchandise around the checkout area
• Assists with register maintenance, cleaning and replenishing supplies
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures.
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
