The Welder is responsible and accountable for: Perform various TIG and/or MIG welds on steel and aluminum to assemble athletic facility equipment. Litania Sports Group promotes a team environment. All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3 pm and overtime as mandated. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age Proven proficiency in TIG and/or MIG welds on steel and/or aluminum Ability to perform continuous weld up to 24 inches desired Read a tape measure Ability to read and work from blue prints including understanding tolerances Ability to take direction in written and oral English Ability to pass a drug screen and work in a drug-free environment Primary responsibilities Follow all safety procedures to protect self and others Accept work orders, review prints, and determine work that needs to be performed Set up welds to include choosing correct jig and setting gas pressure, wire speed and amperage Perform welds per prints Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications Occasionally weld around pipe up to 8 inches Perform water-tight welds Clean up weld splatter from product and in work area Wheel products to next step in process Job Type: Full-time; Monday through Friday; 6:30am to 3pm Salary $20 - $25 per hour Bonus eligible up to 20% bi-weekly and quarterly Hourly position Benefits All full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Basic Life, voluntary life, and 401(k) match up to 6%. | ||
