| Job Summary Our Equipment Installer is responsible for providing safe and accurate installation of athletic equipment, industry-leading customer service, and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role requires communicating effectively, working without supervision, and having great attention to detail. Much of the installation work is for Portable Basketball systems. These units are large, heavy, wheeled apparatus that collapse for transport to the playing court, get anchored to the court surface, and articulate upward to provide a backboard and goal that meets basketball rules/specification. Other installed equipment may include football goal posts, hammer throwing cages, ceiling mounted fabric gymnasium divider curtains, as well as other athletic equipment. This role requires travelling to athletic facilities across the United States, such as high schools, colleges/universities, and large community rec centers. The role will be on-the-road approximately 35-50% of the time. This role schedules their own travel, and most of the time that travel can be scheduled between Monday - Friday. This role is within our Field Service Team and will support other efforts, including troubleshooting finished problems as they are reported from the field - engaging internal and external resources to resolve. Work may be at Litania Sports Group (LSG) or at on-site at customer’s location. - General knowledge of carpentry and assembly, with a mechanical aptitude

- Ability to travel on overnight install trips; these are typically 2-4 days in length – with approximately 15-25 install trips per year
- Ability to travel by plane and car across the United States is required

- Must be able to follow and learn detailed instruction troubleshooting/inspection/repair scenarios, to work independently in the future

Primary responsibilities - Lead the planning and on-site efforts for equipment that LSG offers installation services
- Respond to customers’ inquiries regarding equipment that is not working properly
- Troubleshoot equipment to identify/resolve issues via phone, email, and in-person/on-site
- Lead communication/coordinate efforts with external customers, such as Athletic Directors, coaches, sales partners, and other equipment installers
- Work independently and self-manage project load to meet customers’ demands and expectations
- Present a professional image to customers during all communications and when on-site
- Following safety standards, building codes, and project plans to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Travelling to site-locations is a key attribute of this role, with some installation work planned weeks in advance, while other troubleshooting/service work needs immediate attention with travel on short notice (within a day or two).
- Support Project Managers (and other Sales staff) to serve customers’ equipment inquiries, including installation support and pre-sale questions
- Work collaboratively with internal colleagues in R+D, Sales, and Manufacturing
- Ability to learn multiple product ranges (function, design, intended use, and mechanisms) to troubleshoot and perform technical service
- Support the R+D Team in the design and testing of new products and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Support other Functional Areas (primarily Sales and Manufacturing) as needed with technical expertise and equipment knowledge
- Present a professional image to customers while in the field and during all communications via, phone, text, email, etc

These activities may include, but are not limited to, the following: - Vision - Reading directions, inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Kneeling - To set equipment or reach materials
- Lifting - Up to 70lbs alone and over 100 lbs with assistance
- Forearms - Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
- Handiwork - Use of a wide range of hand tools all requiring gripping and controlling motions that are often repetitious
- Climbing - Ladder work to reach storage, retrieve supplies, and access installed overhead equipment
- Push/Pull - Moving items into place for assembly, fabrication, and storage
- Standing/Walking - To move around plant or installation locations
