STATEMENT OF THE JOB:
This position has the principal responsibility for ordering, maintaining proper control and reporting of ingredient and packaging supplies for the respective Business units through execution, collaboration, innovation, and people/team development
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary Statement: This position has the principal responsibility for ordering, maintaining proper control and reporting of ingredient and packaging supplies for the respective Business units through execution, collaboration, innovation, and people/team development
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Utilize SAP system to order supplies, ingredients, and KMI’s for multiple Businesses.
2. Set up and maintain MRP system production models and ordering parameters.
3. Manage portion of $18 MM. average RPW inventory to meet or exceed monthly inventory turn targets.
4. Research, explain, and reduce material outages in support of CTS.
5. Manage appropriate inventory levels internally and externally to balance inventory and service.
6. Provide absentee coverage for other Material Planners.
7. Support multiple Businesses through collaboration with R&D and Production departments for projects, productivity initiatives, and commercialization’s.
8. Partner with HQMM and Procurement on collaboration strategies and issue resolution.
9. Collaborate with Cycle Count group and Production to research and reduce cycle count variances.
10. Reduce Company costs through flawless execution of material and ingredient changes.
11. Develop and implement processes or projects to reduce RPW inventories.
12. Execute Material Management goals.
13. Participate on internal project teams.
14. Provide material information at daily DDS meetings.
15. Develop key relationships with internal and external customers through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
16.Assist with Customer Service activities including appointment scheduling, processing customer orders in Matrics, and vehicle sizing.
17. Other duties as assigned. Organizational Relationships: Plant production, maintenance, project engineering, manufacturing engineering, finance, human resources, training and distribution. Headquarters supply chain, logistics, purchasing, customer service, distribution, R & D, Other Kraft Heinz Locations as necessary to support the business needs.
Qualifications/Abilities:
1. 2 or 4 year degree is preferred.
2. Upside potential to move cross-functionally within the organization
3. Knowledge of inventory management methods.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
7. Solid Microsoft Office and SAP Skills
8. Ability to learn and leverage systems. (Must be able to innovate, streamline and simplify work).
