We are seeking a Resident Services Manager to lead our resident services operations. Our ideal candidate has a passion for providing outstanding customer service and is dedicated to our Apartment Living Made Easy resident experience. Their leadership is pivotal in maintaining high occupancy rates, fostering resident satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our leasing operations.

The Resident Services Manager oversees all resident services operations and provides leadership to the resident services staff while working directly with the Chief Revenue Officer of Residential in setting and meeting strategic leasing goals. The essential functions of the position are listed below:

  • Manage all full and part-time resident services staff and activities to provide a “Disneyesque” customer service experience for active residents
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, providing guidance and training to the resident services team to respond to inquiries and concerns promptly
  • Manage all resident-related activities. This includes scheduling appointments, executing renewal or transfer leases, subleasing, submitting maintenance requests, and maintaining resident files.
  • Utilize all current, future, and past resident communications and reviews to ensure the resident services team delivers exceptional customer service through multiple communication channels
  • Expert in utilizing and training others on our property management software to provide a seamless resident experience
  • Collaborate with the Residential leadership team to maintain consistent reporting on key performance indicators
  • Assist the Director of Marketing and Sales to coordinate, staff, and attend resident appreciation events and other resident engagement activities
  • Professionally represent JSM in community and industry organizations and events
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key individuals throughout the organization

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in residential property management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in property management software and tools. Experience with Entrata is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising a team
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
  • Valid driver’s license
