ISS is committed to the development and design of highly sensitive fluorescence instrumentation for scientific research, clinical, and industrial applications. A subsidiary of ISS, ISS Medical, markets non-invasive near-infrared instrumentation for absolute measurements of oxygen and hemoglobin concentrations in tissue (brain and muscle) and functional brain imaging. ISS has a long history of innovation beginning with time-resolved fluorometers with picosecond resolution. We manufacture fluorescence instrumentation for time-resolved (frequency-domain and time-domain) and steady-state measurements, including a line of modular components for fluorometers: laser diodes, LEDs, high-pressure cells, and fiber optic sensors amongst an extensive line of accessories. Our microscopy line provides single molecule tracking and nanoimaging. Our ALBA combines a scanning confocal lifetime imaging microscope with fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, and we also provide components for microscopy.
