Opportunity: A new opportunity based at our headquarter in Champaign, Illinois, for a Microscopy Product Specialist to join the ISS Team and perform a wide range of responsibilities involving the installations of the FLIM and FFS platforms, instrument demonstrations, sales support, in house and on site customer training, and customer support. Duties include: installation of microscopy systems; participate in trade shows, conferences and user meetings; visit LSM sales opportunities with Sales team; assist Sales team in closing LSM orders; maintain demo instruments; perform or assist in demonstrations and training; provide customer support including phone coverage and on-site support; assist in production of manuals and marketing materials; other duties as required. Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, life science, or related areas; ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain confocal microscopy systems; willingness to be mentored and learn new applications; excellent oral and written English communication; proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint; ability to build productive relationships; self-motivated with strong work ethic; ability to manage multiple priorities; flexibility; ability to complete training requirements; valid driver license.
