Facilities Associate Job Description

Position Summary:

This position is an entry level position into the maintenance field. This employee has minimal knowledge and is needing fully trained on the way we do our job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ensuring the work area for you and your team is safe and clean

• Assist the higher ranking associates with jobs, PM’s and any other all while learning and improving skills being taught from the other associates.

• Acquire a general understanding of the production work flow.

Required Skills:

• Subject matter knowledge in one of the following areas: Welding, Electrical, Plumbing/Pipe Fitting, Hudson equipment in any of the departments

• Willingness to learn and adapt to the Hudson way

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

• Good organizational skills

• Licensed to operate forklift

• Strong interpersonal skills

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED

• 1-2 years of experience in this industry preferred
