As a UX/UI Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and driving enhancement of user interfaces across multiple websites. You will collaborate closely with brand teams, developers, SEO Specialist, project manager and site merchandisers to create high-quality, user-friendly products that meet both business and user needs. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles in headless architecture and a passion for driving intuitive and engaging digital experiences.

Typical pay for this position is $65,000-85,000/year. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • User Research: Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and data analysis.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts and demonstrate functionality.
  • UI Design: Design clean, modern, and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines while ensuring usability and accessibility while engaging the RC enthusiast and drives conversion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Perform UAT and gathers feedback to iterate on designs and ensure a frictionless, positive user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for innovative design solutions.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain the company’s Figma design system to ensure consistency and coherence across all websites.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or Specialist, preferably working with headless CMS and API-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Vue, Next.js, or similar).
  • Experience integrating design with headless CMS solutions such as Contentstack, Contentful, or Amplience.
  • Knowledge of usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with development, marketing, and merchandising teams.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing and analytics tools for UX research and data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented, Yet Agile – You obsess over pixels, but move fast to deliver high-quality work.
  • Understanding of data-driven design and the ability to make informed design decisions.
  • Experience with animation and interaction design.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials, up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, clicking, and using a mouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, including frequent use of a desk and computer.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business-related purposes (if required).
