Job Title: 1G/2G/3G MIG & TIG Welder

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for welding and fabricating parts according to blueprint specification. The welder will fit and weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal parts using a MIG/TIG/FLUX and/or Stick process. Our parts are diverse and demand technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive safety mindset.

  • Must be able to pass a 1G/2G/3G weld test (Required)

  • Joins and repairs metal and other welding materials; using appropriate welding techniques: MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX

  • Utilize measuring equipment such as tape measures, rulers, calipers, micrometers to ensure quality work

  • Measures, marks, and scribes’ dimensions and reference points on materials or workpiece as guides for welding

  • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to blueprint specifications, using precision measuring instruments

  • Operates and observes to detect malfunctions or non-conforming conditions and adjusts machine controls as required

  • Maintain welding equipment in good working condition

  • Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve production goals

  • Record and report production data accurately and timely

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Welding school preferred.
