Loan Review Analyst

Manager – Loan Review

Summary
To learn to review loan documentation for accuracy and financial information, for repayment capacity, to assist in preparation of periodic reports on loan quality and reserve adequacy for all First Financial Corporation banks.

Typical Job Entry Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Two plus years of loan review or credit analyst experience is preferred

Primary Activities
(Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)

• Review loans for the purpose of determining compliance with bank policies, including proper credit approval, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, adequacy of loan documentation, and credit risk.
• Analyze financial strength of customers relating to financial condition, repayment ability, and management capabilities.
• Review loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, compliance with policy.
• Effectively communicate with loan officers / management to ensure accuracy and understanding of findings.
• Make suggestions to strengthen The Bank’s position; point our weaknesses, deviation from loan policy or loan approval, trends, documentation deficiencies, etc.
• Prepare and present written / oral reports as necessary.
• Perform field work at affiliate banks as needed.
• Perform real estate valuation duties as needed.

Bank Secrecy Act
