Family Service seeks an energetic, people-first Outreach Coordinator to grow our presence, connect with agencies, and help people who need us find us. This role includes leadership of our Self-Help Center and being a go-to resource for support groups across Champaign County.What you’ll do: Attract clients to Family Service; represent us at events, panels, and workshops; build relationships with other agencies and referral partners; support the Self-Help Center (maintain database and directory, develop materials, organize CEU events, host Advisory Committee meetings); and run our social media (plan, write, and post content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram; video skills a plus).Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications/social work/PR/marketing or related field (or equivalent experience); outreach/community engagement/social services experience; strong written and verbal communication; comfortable representing an organization publicly; hands-on social media experience; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; warmth and respect for people of all backgrounds; basic database skills.
