Caregiver Advisor – Piatt County. Provide support to unpaid caregivers of older adults and grandparents raising grandchildren by building knowledge and skills, connecting to services, and reducing caregiver stress.What you’ll do: Build referral networks in Piatt County; connect with potential clients (social media, events); provide information and assistance; offer instruction/training in workshops and in-home; develop and implement support groups; assist grandparents raising grandchildren (school navigation, technology, behavior, grief); maintain supportive follow-up and case documentation.Ideal candidate: Knowledge/experience in children’s services (education, CASA, DCFS, or similar) helpful. Bachelor’s in social work or related preferred; HS diploma with 5+ years relevant experience encouraged to apply.
