Provide non-medical, supportive care to help older adults live independently at home. Immediate start.What you’ll do: Follow client care plans; assist with groceries, meal prep, laundry, and light cleaning; drive clients to appointments and shopping and assist with carrying/putting away groceries; support with bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, supervision, and medication reminders; provide companionship; document daily tasks; observe and report changes in client status and any unsafe conditions; participate in staff meetings and training.Ideal candidate: Interest in working with older adults; HS diploma/GED or 1+ year related experience (CNAs are a great fit). Requirements: reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proper insurance; at least 10 hours/week during business hours; professional, flexible, organized; respectful of diverse backgrounds; basic reading/writing for record-keeping; reachable by phone; able to complete HomeCare Assistant training and pass background checks per Illinois regulations (Health Care Worker Background Check Act and Code).The package: $18.75/hour; $19.25/hour with CNA; 12 paid holidays; PTO accrual at hire (usable after 90 days, max 200 hrs); life insurance; flexible schedule; mileage reimbursement; paid orientation/training; safety equipment provided.To apply: Send your résumé and cover letter.
