JOB TITLE: GENERAL CLEANER

Full-Time Janitorial/Custodial (Urbana -IL)
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 hours, 5PM-1:30AM

(Occasional adjustments may be needed based on business requirements)

CURRENTLY SEEKING A FULL-TIME JANITORIAL/CUSTODIAN POSITION, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY,8 HOURS, 5PM-1:30AM. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A FULL-TIME 2ND SHIFT JOB WITH A CONSISTENT SCHEDULE. IF YOU AN INDIVIDUAL WHO ENJOYS BRINGING A HIGH STANDARD OF CLEANING, TAKE PRIDE IN OFFERING GREAT SERVICE , AND ENJOY HANDS-ON, ACTIVE, INDEPENDENT WORK WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO APPLY. STARTING PAY IS $18/HR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Collect trash from waste containers and take collected trash outside to a dumpster.
• Dust surfaces, damp wipe furniture, clean and polish metal surfaces, clean window, and door glass.
• Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures; restock restroom dispensers (paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, feminine products); mop restroom floors.
• Dust mop or damp mop floors in entrances, lobbies halls, lounges, and other areas.
• Vacuum carpet, furniture, or floors.
• Maintain equipment, carts, and supply closets in a clean, orderly manner.
• Order and restock cleaning supplies and paper products as needed.
• Identify and report unsafe/unsanitary conditions, equipment repairs, and other problems to Area Manager.
• Communicate with customers via logbook.
• May be required to run floor buffer and/or floor scrubber.
• Perform other related duties as required.
