We are investing in growing our Retail Media Network, and our continued success depends on rapidly scaling our core revenue-generating systems. We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager - Ad Tech to lead and support a team of engineers to scale and optimize our digital & in-store ad tech platforms, grow revenue, and set high standards for ad quality. In this role, you’ll help shape the organization's technical vision and align team objectives with business needs. You’ll also collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, stakeholders, and other engineering managers to deliver solutions that unlock innovation.
The role will be responsible for:
Driving the technical strategy and roadmap to build a scalable, reliable, and high-engagement Retail Media Network across multiple channels, including online, in-store, mobile apps, and third-party platforms
Building, growing and guiding a team, including day-to-day execution
Fostering a team culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
Communicating effectively with stakeholders to align priorities with the needs of our diverse audiences
Understanding trade-offs using data to and leading teams to make data-driven decisions.
Partnering with vendors to select and implement critical solutions
Leveraging first-party data to drive personalized and relevant ad content for our Athletes

Preferred competencies
Technical foundation in web technologies, backend systems, and data engineering
3+ years of direct engineering management experience
Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture
Experience building, scaling and supporting an AdTech platform, billing and salesforce integration
Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:
General Education
Master's Degree or Equivalent Level Preferred
General Experience
Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years to 15 years )
Managerial Experience
Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years to 6 years)
