Cunningham Children’s Home’s Transitional Living program helps young people make the transition to adulthood. We are currently hiring an on-site Direct Care Staff for guidance and support with the ultimate goal of launching participants to independence or transitioning them to an independent living program.

Schedule for this position is every Saturday 8a.m.-11p.m. and every Sunday 8am.-11p.m.

General Requirements:

• High School Diploma required
• Experience in a therapeutic setting preferred
• At least 25 yrs old required
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License required with proof of auto insurance

Applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate self-motivation and be self-disciplined, able to prioritize multiple demands in a timely fashion, and be generally organized. Successful candidates will appreciate the details of documentation and the client’s schedules; have a highly developed understanding of confidentiality, and the desire and ability to work cooperatively with other members of the treatment team.
