CLA is growing and seeking to hire a Senior Associate to join our talented Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.
In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
How you’ll create opportunities in the Senior Associate role:
- Assist Federal Tax Strategies (FTS) leaders with the delivery of specialized tax projects, including research and development (R&D) tax credit studies and accounting method changes.
- Work across several different industries, including Manufacturing, Technology, and Life Sciences.
- Assist managers, directors, and principals with client consultations, technical interviews, calculation review, and report development.
- Mentor associates and other team members on their inspired career.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience required
- Experience in business services or consulting preferred
- Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred
The wage range for this position is: $72,000 – $109,223
Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
