Are you passionate about fitness, wellness, and making a real difference in people’s lives? Do you thrive in a vibrant, inclusive community where every day brings new opportunities for wellbeing and purpose? ClarkLindsey’s wellness team is growing, and needs a Fitness Instructor! The preferred schedule is during the day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead engaging, safe, and effective group fitness classes—on land and in the water!
- Customize workouts to meet the needs of older adults.
- Provide one-on-one personal training that’s goal-oriented and empowering.
- Inspire healthy habits through creative wellness programs.
- Be a wellness ambassador across our full continuum of care.
- Collaborate with the wellness team to ensure high quality, effective and interesting offerings.
What You Bring:
- Group Exercise Certification (AFAA, ACSM, SCW, or similar) preferred.
- Experience leading one-on-one and group fitness classes.
- CPR certification and basic first-aid knowledge.
- Strong communication, organization, and ability to promote wellness programs across our campus.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for wellness!
Bonus Points For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Experience with music selection and movement coordination.
- A knack for motivating others and creating engaging fitness experiences.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability move frequently throughout the day.
- Ready to assist in emergency situations if needed.

Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
