About the Role:

As a Janitor at ClarkLindsey, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a sanitary and pleasant environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. From cleaning and light maintenance to pool care and event setup, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional service every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean the swimming pool and water purification systems
  • Perform routine inspections and cleaning of resident and staff areas
  • Handle minor repairs and report maintenance needs
  • Set up and tear down for meetings and events
  • Conduct security checks and emergency equipment testing
  • Support residents in urgent situations when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enjoy working around people, especially older adults
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience with cleaning, sanitization, and following procedures according to a schedule required
  • Ability to pass the NSPF Certified Pool Operator (CPO) test within 6 months
  • Strong attention to detail; motivation to keep things neat and organized
  • Ability to work independently and respond calmly in emergencies

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and move 15–40 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities, where potential exposure to chemicals and bodily fluids exists

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
