ClarkLindsey is seeking a collaborative, adaptable and mission-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist with leadership of the clinical operations of Meadowbrook Health Center, a 49-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and part of East Central Illinois’ only Life Plan Community. This key role assists with ensuring the delivery of exceptional care while advancing a culture of dignity, quality, and continuous improvement.
As the ADON, you will be a central part of our health services leadership team, focusing on oversight of daily nursing functions, quality outcomes, staffing, regulatory compliance, and clinical innovation. You will work alongside an engaged team of clinical professionals, including a Director of Nursing, nurse managers, social services team, and interdisciplinary care partners. This role is instrumental in maintaining our strong regulatory track record. What You'll Do:
- Participate in shaping and carrying out the Director of Nursing’s vision for the department, including strengthening a culture of accountability, coaching, and shared leadership across all levels of nursing
- Participate in continuous quality improvement / QAPI initiatives that drive measurable outcomes
- Assist with staffing challenges creatively, with persistence
- Work with residents, family members and team members in addressing concerns
- Ensure readiness for surveys through frequent rounding of all resident areas, monitoring of clinical documentation and standards, and ongoing coaching and education
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education & Licensure:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (or eligibility for licensure by endorsement)
- Experience:
-
- Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience with leadership responsibilities being part of the role
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Public Health and Medicare nursing home regulatory rules and compliance
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (PointClickCare preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Skills & Competencies:

- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership competency
- Ability to effectively respond to conflict, emergency situations, as needed
- On-call availability

Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000, salary, and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 3% of salary annually are available based on performance.
