Assistant Director - atHome with ClarkLindsey

The Assistant Director is a full-time, salaried leadership position.
The atHome Assistant Director is a self starter, who in collaboration with the Director of Home & Community Based Services, leads the delivery of excellent care and services to clients in their homes, optimizing their abilities to live their best life and providing their loved ones and caretakers with peace of mind. This position is an integral role in Lindsey Communities’ continuum of care for older adults and serves an active role on the Leadership Team of the Lindsey Communities family (ClarkLindsey, atHome, Circle of Friends and Lindsey Management Services).
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding, training, evaluating and supervising team members
Client care management, including business development, client satisfaction, ensuring regulatory compliance and coordinating communication
Leadership and administrative duties including day-to-day supervision of operations
Participate in the manager-on-call rotation
Ideal Candidates:
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare or social services leadership experience or similar industry experience
Proven track record of successfully managing a team
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards
Passion for person-centered care and operational excellence
Ability to lead change effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Are comfortable with technology and capable of learning/using a variety of software systems (time keeping software, electronic medical records, Microsoft products, etc.)
Are creative problem solver with business savvy
Have a knack for customer service
Job Requirements:
Visit clients' private residences throughout Champaign County
Position requires working in and out of an office setting. Ability to safely move around an office or home setting.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to persuade with or without authority
Make independent decisions where circumstances warrant
Remain calm during emergencies
Operate with integrity, friendliness, adaptability and compassion
Ability to lift, push, pull to complete normal job responsibilities
Must have a valid driver's license, vehicle and insurance
Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive a pre-employment background check and the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.
Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $76,000 - $80,000 and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 5% of salary annually are available based on performance .
