Previous experience with cleaning techniques and procedures is required. Previous experience cleaning in a highly sanitary medical environment is strongly preferred.

ClarkLindsey's beautiful buildings, home for many people, don't stay that way by themselves! A team of people are responsible for the daily upkeep to meet the high standards of cleanliness we set for ourselves. A desire to keep things tidy and neat, and passion for cleaning are required for this important position.

ClarkLindsey is seeking a friendly, compassionate, adaptable and dependable individual with a sincere interest in serving older adults to join our team as a housekeeper. In this role, you will clean, sanitize and organize resident spaces such as apartments and rooms, according to procedures, on a schedule. You will also clean and sanitize public spaces like dining areas and offices. Attention to detail, ability to stay on schedule, ability to follow instructions and follow established processes is required.
Open Positions
  • The hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Monday- Friday.
  • Occasional weekend shifts will be required.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience with commercial infection control solutions, methods and techniques required. Proper infection control practices are critical to the safety of ClarkLindsey residents, team members and visitors.
  • Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Must be able to bend, stand, reach, and exert 10 to 40 pounds of force.

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
  • Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
  • Must be able to be friendly and tactful with team members, residents, families, and the general public.
