Our Dining Services team plays a vital role in daily life—providing high-quality meals and warm, personal service that supports comfort, connection, and well-being for the residents we serve.
We’re looking for a friendly, service-driven Barista to join our Bistro team, and fill-in as Lead Server as needed. This role primarily focuses on preparing and serving coffee, specialty beverages including alcoholic beverages, and light meals, while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. The secondary responsibility is to oversee the dining room operation before and during meal service. The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults and can balance patient, compassionate service with efficiently completing daily tasks.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, alcoholic beverages and light food items following standard recipes
• Provide warm, courteous service to residents, guests, and team members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bistro, dining room and service areas
• Follow food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory needs
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and dietary considerations
• Previous barista, café, or food service experience, and experience with overseeing food service operations
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate approach to customer service and working with people
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a calm, welcoming demeanor
• Comfortable operating café equipment and handling POS systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler certification and BASSET certification or willingness to obtain

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year. ClarkLindsey employees may not accept tips.
