Seeking a Compassionate, Skilled, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Speech Language Pathologist advances whole-person wellbeing at ClarkLindsey by supporting communication, cognition, and swallowing health to promote independence, connection, and quality of life. As part of the interdisciplinary clinical team, this position delivers person-centered, evidence-based treatments, intake, communication and engagement that is compassionate, functional, and aligned with ClarkLindsey’s wellness philosophy.

What You’ll Do:

· Complete comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.

· Conduct dysphagia therapy, cognitive retraining, communication therapy, and compensatory strategy training.

· Collaborate with dining services, nursing, and medical providers regarding swallow safety and diet recommendations.

· Document services timely and accurately.

· Provide caregiver and staff education on communication strategies and dysphagia precautions.

What You Bring:

· Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

· Current Illinois SLP license & ASHA CCC-SLP certification.

· CPR certification.

· Experience with adult and geriatric populations strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The pay for this position is $51.00 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
