About the Role
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist for Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) plays a key role in the employment experience of team members. The HR Generalist supports recruitment and onboarding, manages payroll and benefit administration, monitors and supports employee retention, ensures adherence to state and federal regulations, maintains vital employee records, and oversees relevant data analytics in collaboration with leadership.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee employee retention efforts such as employee rewards systems, celebrations, and bonus programs.

Administer employee relations, addressing questions, concerns, performance issues and leave management. Produces correction plans, and oversees completion of those plans as indicated by the company’s compliance and quality control program Understand when situations require leadership involvement.

Maintain accurate and compliant HR files / records and HRIS data. Perform regular HR audits.

Perform data analytics tasks such as generating reports, creating dashboards, and summarizing data for leadership.
What You Bring:

3+ years of HR experience (healthcare or HCBS preferred).

Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practice, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite and HR reporting tools.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Respect for professional boundaries and confidentiality is a requirement.

Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities simultaneously.

Decision making ability, strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

This position works in an office, visits the various organizations at their locations, including (at least) monthly regional travel is required. (Personal vehicle, proof of insurance and post-offer Motor Vehicle Registration check required).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range is $53,000 - $64,500, based on experience, with performance bonuses available.
