Seeking a Compassionate, Skilled, Occupational Therapy Assistant
Join the team at ClarkLindsey! The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) helps people develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living. COTAs focus on the practical application of therapy, using processes such as engaging in activities to optimize independence.
What You’ll Do:
The COTA provides therapeutic services, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, that enhance resident independence, functional skills, and participation in daily activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment interventions according to occupational therapist-developed care plans.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL)/instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) training, adaptive equipment practice, and functional tasks.
- Observe, document, and report resident progress and changes to the supervising OT.
- Follow safety and compliance standards.
- Support wellness and restorative programming.
What You Bring:
- Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active Illinois COTA license.
· CPR certification.
· Experience with adult and geriatric populations strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay for this PRN position is $35.00 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
