Resident Assistants at ClarkLindsey provide friendly, compassionate, high quality basic healthcare services to older adults, under the direction of an RN or LPN. CNA Certification is not a requirement for this position.
Successful Resident Assistants will be comfortable with adapting to changing priorities and moments of pressure throughout the shift. Responding positively to unpredictable situations or problems that can occur throughout their work responsibilities is required. The ability to adapt to the needs of residents while staying within ClarkLindsey's policies and procedures, as well as consistently meeting expectations for excellent care and service, are required for this position. The ability to be a self-starter is important for this role. Resident Assistance must anticipate the needs and proactively engage with residents, even when it has not been specifically assigned.
Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $22.90 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am. (CNA, RA, LPN, RN)

Requirements
Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
- Stand-by shifts are required, and will be discussed at the time of interview
